Fashion Bug brings fresh fashion experience to Moratuwa

Fashion Bug, one of Sri Lanka’s leading fashion retailers with over 16 outlets islandwide, rebranded and relaunched its Katubedda outlet on 26 November 2022 in the presence of customers and well wishers. 

The store that previously encompassed close to 10,000 square feet now boasts of 15,000 square feet of retail space, offering a wide range of styles for women, men, as well as children across all ages and an extensive range of kitchenware, serveware, home décor, and bed and bath items that are ideal for everyday use as well as gifting. 

“Fashion Bug, Katubedda is one of our very first stores and we are very much a part of this community. Some of our most loyal customers hail from the Moratuwa area through this branch. This is why we felt that it was important for us to broad-base ourselves as Fashion Bug, Moratuwa,” Fashion Bug (Pvt) Ltd. CEO Shabier Subian commented.  

The brainchild of founders Rizal and Ashan Subian, Fashion Bug was founded in 1994 in Bandarawela with a seven-member team and has evolved into a household brand that boasts 16 outlets islandwide which house homegrown brands designed independently by Fashion Bug and manufactured in Sri Lankan via small- and medium-scale factories.
