After an extended hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, movie premieres complete with red carpet are returning to Sri Lanka, with the first being that of Black Adam at Scope Cinemas Multiplex, Colombo City Centre last Thursday (20).
The event was attended by special invitees, including Scope Privilege members, who were given VIP treatment a day ahead of their US counterparts, as the movie officially premiered on 21 October. The premiere was an exciting evening, with glammed-up celebrities bedazzling the room, swept up in the smoke that was floating around, setting the scene for this action-packed movie.
The wine-fuelled affair was buzzing with anticipation, invitees snacking on canapés, eagerly waiting for the doors to open, to watch the much-awaited movie. At 7 p.m. sharp, the rush to grab the best seats began, and once everyone was settled in, popcorn in hand, then began the movie.
