- Launches innovative experience centre

World of Outdoor (WOO), a well-known manufacturer and supplier of outdoor furniture in Sri Lanka, has officially unveiled its state-of-the-art customer experience centre in Colombo 5. The brand also launched a new range of contemporary outdoor furniture designs to suit today’s current trends and fast-changing lifestyles.
In conversation with The Morning Brunch, World of Outdoor Chief Operating Officer (COO) Razeen Mahroof informed us that World of Outdoor has been operational for over 12 years now, with proven experience in providing stylish outdoor furniture for the local and export market.
“WOO furniture is used to breathe new life into gardens and poolsides and also to bring the exhilarating feeling of the great outdoors to spaces such as balconies, verandahs and outdoor dining areas of residences, restaurants, cafes, villas, and hotels,” he said.
Sharing his views on the new experience centre, Mahroof commented: “We are excited to launch our new experience centre at a central location so that our valued customers can explore our product range with freedom.”
He observed that since Sri Lanka is a tropical country, the outdoor lifestyle is an important part of our lives. “We have always remained focused on design and specifications that suit tropical living. Our concepts capture the essence of Mother Nature to bring products that suit everyday living,” he stated.
Designed in the earthy colours and textures of nature, World of Outdoors is all about transforming living spaces into everyday luxury living. Mahroof also highlighted that all WOO furniture is manufactured in Sri Lanka and that it only utilises the highest grade of raw materials that are ideally suited to the varying environmental conditions of tropical countries such as Sri Lanka. He also told us that WOO furniture can be customised to the customer’s preference, which is one of its major unique selling points.
“Customers can even customise their designs from the large collection of swatches and samples available,” he told us, adding that they have a huge variety of different materials, innovative weaves and trending designs on display. Their clients can easily find perfectly-suited outdoor furniture designs to complement their living spaces.
In attempts to garner much-needed foreign exchange to the country, Mahroof told us that they export to countries like the Maldives, the Seychelles, and Malaysia, as well as Asia Pacific regions, which he believes will help better the local economy.
