She’s a well-known mompreneur who has perfected the art of balancing both motherhood and entrepreneurship.

Natasha Kristina De Silva is the lady behind the brand Twerk. If you haven’t heard of it – the brand caters to fitness enthusiasts who also want to stand out at the gym. Along with managing her main brand, Twerk, Natasha also co-owns two other businesses. She is also currently working on something interesting and exciting which is to be launched very soon.

What keeps Natasha in the most exclusive social circles of the country is her phenomenal sense of style. Whether she’s in a bikini or a t-shirt and jeans or a power suit, Natasha always looks stunning. She’s a great example to women everywhere that motherhood is not what society tells us it is; we can make it whatever we want it to be and enjoy it however we like. She’s always been a force to reckon with and is unapologetic about making a bold statement and owning her look.

In addition to her work with Twerk, her other business, her future ventures, and being a mom, she’s also nailing the Instagram game with her outfits and smile! Follow her feed for a glimpse into her family life, everyday style, and fitness inspiration.

Her eclectic style inspires us to take fashion risks and her physique inspires us to put more effort into working out! She is the perfect mix of sugar and spice, someone who can pull off feminine chic to high fashion looks without batting an eyelash. This fashionista mom is totally fit and fab. With Natasha’s style constantly evolving and her ability to make anything she wears always look effortless, The Morning Brunch decided to reach out to her for a few fashion tips.

How would you describe your sense of style?

My sense of style usually depends on my mood. I’ve been told I’m very unpredictable. One day you’ll see me looking like Lois Lane. On another day, I’ll be looking like Harley Quinn, while on another day my laundry basket will have dictatorship over what I wear. One thing I know for sure is that I love my prints. I’m a sucker for animal prints. I love an outfit that stands out. That was a key inspiration when I launched Twerk as well – if you’ve noticed the bold prints and colours. Of course, we all love the limelight – which is why more often than not, you’ll catch me in at least one printed article of clothing.

What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion to me is a way of expressing who you are, your beliefs, attitudes, and values. Most of us inhibit the true meaning of fashion. Some people tend to think that fashion is all about what is in trend and what’s hot just during a particular season. I’m here to tell you otherwise – fashion does not just define all the latest or the most popular or the most famous clothes. In reality, this social phenomenon invokes more importance.

To follow trends and see everyone wear the same thing is not very pleasing to the eye; it’s just bad fashion advice. Fashion is something that visually depicts our personality. Fashion is a state of mind, a spirit, an extension of one’s self. It can be an understated whisper or a high-energy scream. It’s about translating self-esteem into a personal style, it is something that’s offered four times a year by designers, and style is what you choose.
