Following the success of “The Rocktober Sessions: Volume I”, Stigmata are poised to unleash “The Rocktober Sessions Volume 2: Hallow’s Eve” on Saturday (29) at Darley Road Pub and Restaurant (Excel World).
This costumed event will kickstart at 7 p.m. and go on until midnight, featuring a diverse lineup locked and loaded to perform a range of musical styles and genres.
The Stigmata team aims to put on a Halloween horror show unlike anything witnessed in Sri Lanka. From setting the ambience, mood, and atmosphere dialled to a terrifying 10+ and Darley Road Pub and Restaurant offering deals on food and beverages, to five amazing artists ready to perform a mind-blowing set each, varying from classic rock, blues and folk, contemporary classical, groove and doom metal, to hard rock and grunge, and thrash and progressive metal – it’s going to be a one a kind show for one-of-a-kind souls!
“The Rocktober Sessions Volume 2: Hallow’s Eve” will feature a star-studded guest line-up of performers from classical baritone extraordinaire Sanjeev Niles and the siren-voiced hard rocker Ashen Sandaru, to the bombastic groove power of Trishira and the energetic and enigmatic melodic aggression of Sevexth, to the pure Sri Lankan metal sorcery of Stigmata.
Stigmata are on a roll this year, returning to uncanny form as a five piece that’s a musical behemoth to witness live. With a setlist planned with covers ranging from Opeth to Alice in Chains, new music and fan-favourites like My Malice, Book of Skin, Voices, Andura, and Heavy is the Head that Wears the Crown are some of the anthems in the band’s arsenal for the day.
“The Rocktober Sessions Volume 2: Hallow’s Eve” is the fifth mega live concert organised by Stigmata as part of a yearlong series of shows, having tied up with some incredible event partners and staged at key venues around the city of Colombo.
Tickets for this brilliant Halloween gig are priced at Rs. 2,000 and will be available at the gate on show day at the Darley Road Pub and Restaurant. Patrons are encouraged to attend the show in costumes and outfits – as the performers themselves will be in horror-themed attire!
Three individuals sporting the best costumes will receive jaw-dropping prizes.
