Dimithri Mendis got involved with fashion content creation at a very young age. Now, at 22, her social media handles have garnered over 10,000 followers that watch her space for fashion tips and advice. She started engaging with audiences on Instagram and TikTok very recently to prove to herself that if she loves and believes in the content she creates, others will too – she certainly proved herself right!
Dimithri has always loved dressing up since she was very young, playing around with different clothes and styles just to see what matched and what didn’t until she figured out what she liked, which she says is what started all this. Both her parents work in the fashion industry and always encouraged her to be herself regardless of others’ opinions.
They would always share their experiences with different cultures and their styles of dress, which helped her explore different ideas of what fashion is exactly. Also, having herself surrounded by loved ones and friends who always supported her played a large part in her journey. She still plays around with different ways of dressing up or dressing down various items of clothing and she still loves it with all her heart, as it helps her express herself in ways that words cannot!

Going on a coffee date
Pair your favourite little black dress with some sneakers and a cute shoulder bag with your hair up and you’re all set!
Heading out for a girls night
Put your dress on, throw on some sparkly heels and maybe match it with a sparkly bag and you’re ready to go!
Attending a beach event
Throw on a pair of flip-flops and a cute lace coverup and it’s a vibe! It’s short enough that it won’t get in the way if you want to take a small stroll by the waves, and it’s cute enough that you’ll look great while doing it. The possibilities are endless!
